The 50gm Silica Gel Direct silica gel is a hard granular, non-toxic and non-corrosive desiccant that gives the appearance of crushed glass. It is odourless, insoluble and a non-conductor of electricity.
When used in a closed environment, the silica gel direct silica gel adsorbs moisture from the air to help lower the humidity and thus keeping the air dry. It will prevent all forms of rust, corrosion, oxidation, mildew, fungus, mould, fogging, etc. Our Silica Gel can be usefull in many situations like the packing of shoes, electronics, engineering components, computer parts, clothes, foods, medical instruments, electronics, luggage, chemical products, scientific experiments, diagnostics, confectionary, packaging and much more.
Our silica gel has the ability to absorb up to 40 percent of its weight at 90 percent relative humidity, and has the advantage of being used several times before losing its absorbing ability. Our silica comes in several forms; A tyvek bag, an indicating non-woven bag, or can even be supplied loosely.

Great for storage
Recently bought my second bag of 50g sachets of Silica Gel. I use three in each sealed storage container. Keeps all my paperwork and ephemera dry in QLD humidity!
